Who We Are
Our Congregation:
The members of Westhampton Baptist Church (WBC) are excited to be celebrating our 100th anniversary in 2011. We are made up of persons from diverse economic, social, geographic and religious backgrounds. We are a family based church of as many as four generations and others who have spent their entire lives here. Our doors are open to all who come looking for a relationship with Jesus Christ. We have a growing children's program that we hope is the seed of a strong youth group. While our congregation is aging, we have a strong core of middle aged workers and leaders. We offer Sunday School classes for all ages as well as a college and career group that meets after church off of the campus. We are a mission minded church who devotes a great deal of our effort to local (food closets, CARITAS, etc) and global missions (shoe box ministry, sending members to teach English in China). We love and care for each other in times of celebration as well as in times of sorrow and do our best to care for those outside of our church family as well. Lastly, we enjoy the company of our Christian brothers and sisters through the many fellowship opportunities in our church throughout the year.
