Outreach to the Local Community..and Beyond

Westhampton Baptist Church promotes missions, education and ongoing mission projects. We promote and lead our church to give to missions through local, state and international offerings.

Examples of "hands on" mission ministries in which we have participated: Filled shoeboxes for Samaritan's Purse, to be delivered throughout the world.

• We operate a small Food Closet for local folks in need.
• Prepared and delivered "treat bags" to our shut-ins and those with special needs, to show our love.
• Donated goods and money to Good Samaritan Ministries.
• Special collections of clothing to share with a local clothes closet.
• Prepared lunches and dinners for the homeless through CARITOS.
• Donated food baskets for those in need at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
• Supported local Richmond Baptist Association Community Centers monthly with needed supplies.
• Prepare meals for BSU students at Univ. of Rich. and V.C.U.
• Participate in walks and runs to raise funds for various Virginia charities.
• Provide individuals with help in time of crisis.
• Participate in Impact VA, a program of home repair for needy persons.
