Greetings To All Our Children

SantaWOW!! So much planning, decorating, and gift buying, and now Christmas has past. That is, the commercial Christmas. Baby Jesus

Hopefully we still have Christmas, and what it really is and means, close to our hearts. Our church has had many wonderful programs and events to highlight the Christmas season and the celebration of the birth of Jesus.

Singers

The children of the church have given so much of their talents and gifts during this celebration time. Singing, reciting, serving, playing, giving and loving, the children gave us so much and we are the better for receiving their gifts.

New Year

A new year is upon us and as we make personal resolutions and hopes for changes, Children’s Church has some of their own changes planned. The biggest and what will be the best change is the sharing of leaders for Children’s Church. The kids have seen me each week for 2 years now and I am sure they are growing tired of my face. We are making plans to have 4 or more leaders for Children’s Church with each person taking 1 Sunday a month.

Workers

This is still being worked out. Many volunteers are needed to both lead and assist. We have an average of 10-12 children each Sunday. Two people are needed each Sunday to help keep the time productive, as well as fun, for the children. Please, if you feel this ministry is something you would like to do, I would encourage you to step forward and join this exciting time with the children.

We have many resources that offer the children a biblical lesson along with craft and activity ideas. We too are starting a new book on Old Testament Stories that promises to be enjoyable for the children. Your help is greatly needed.

Whale

This ministry has grown continually over the 2 years and it is time for new faces to lead our children. Please call me or e-mail me with any suggestions or to volunteer your talents in working with our children.
